The last game needs to pair likely top teams with also rans.

ie Kansas against OU say. and WVU vs Iowa State, etc.

The historic losers in the conference need to play the historic best teams.

Only other way is for all the conference teams play one of their OOC losers the last game before the "ccg" game.

It's silly as heck for a round robin conference to then let the two top teams play once more for the championship. Actually, it's stupid.
